About the Authors: Wolfgang Vogl
Wolfgang is a pioneer of sports climbing from the very early days, yet maintained a hunger for new lines and movements on rock.
Based in Bregenz, Austria, he developed the local Känzele crag and others in the region with more than 400 routes and was also especially active bolting in Jordan.
He continues to build many climbing gyms across the world including the Olympic Lead Wall in Amman, Jordan.
Furthermore he is a member of the Austrian Alpine Club Education Team, teaching new instructors in Austria, Jordan, Egypt and Turkey.
In an effort to boost the development of rock climbing in Egypt in the past 3 years he certified over 20 instructors and bolted more than one third of the existing routes in Egypt together with Timo.
